Career Trade & Career Speakers - Afternoon

Once a week, career trade vendors will visit the camp to introduce children to various trades, aiming to broaden their horizons and inspire interest in different career paths. Each session will commence with a verbal dialogue where the vendor shares insights, experiences, and expertise in their respective trade. Following this, visual instruction will be provided to demonstrate the practical aspects and techniques involved in the trade, allowing the children to gain a hands-on understanding.

Our goal is to expose the campers to a diverse range of trades, including chef/baker, photographer/videographer, jewelry maker, financial adviser, and IT professional (coder). Additionally, a barber/stylist will visit once a week to provide instruction on the skills and techniques involved in the haircare and styling profession.…
